New chair

I found this chair the other day. When I decided to make the move from Denver to Philadelphia I unfortunately could only afford to ship 60 boxes of belongings so, I had to sell all my neat vintage furniture I had collected over the years living out west. Im slowing rebuilding my collection. It's coming together nicely...

Found yesterday....

Found this mid century wood arm chair yesterday! Made in Italy. It's been awhile since I found a good piece of furniture. Very excited. Now, should I keep or sell it is the question......

New Jersey Trash

About ten years years ago, yikes, I can't believe its been that long, anyways, I was living in Easton, PA. One day on a trip over the bridge to Phillipsburg, NJ I found this chair along the road in the trash. I couldn't beleive someone was throwing it out. I thought it was so neat. I tied it to the back of my car and took it home. My roommate at the time named it the captains chair. I never knew any history on the chair. About a month ago I found out that it is a rare designer piece. Adrian Pearsall to be exact. Here is a photo of my chair, which is all original. And one that is restored.
