Mummers in Manayunk...

I've lived in Philadelphia for 4 years now via Denver, Co and I have never experienced the mummers parade first hand. This Saturday was the 2nd annual Mardi Gras mummers parade celebration here in my neighborhood, Manayunk so I had to go check it out. It was very inspiring to say the least. The costumes are so colorful and exotic. Here are some snap shots from my adventure.

A few weeks ago I participated in the Philly mart right here in Manayunk. It was on Venice Island right off Main Street in Manayunk. It was a beautiful fall day. Here are some snapshots from the day at the market.
